Property Maintenance

Reputations are made or broken by the speed and quality of routine or emergency property maintenance. That’s why the Montrose name is as good as it gets … because we aim for the total satisfaction of both landlords and tenants.

 

Potentially dangerous faults receive emergency repair within 24 hours and other issues are graded for attention by our maintenance staff and regular contractors within seven to 30 days. We deal with running repairs, routine maintenance, annual electrical and gas safety checks. We investigate larger repairs, obtain estimates for approval and check all completed work.

 

And when negotiating improvements we always act fairly in the best interests of both tenants and landlords - because both have a right to expect the high standards of our worry free general management service.

 

For property owners who want to let without the worry of close involvement we also offer specialist refurbishment.

 

  • The Montrose office is open six days a week with out-of-hours contact for any urgent issue. And our maintenance department is available direct by e-mailing maintenance@montroseproperties.co.uk

 

Project Management Service

 

Does a newly acquired property require refurbishment or major repair before it is let? Or could an existing one benefit from a ‘facelift’ between tenants? A new bathroom, kitchen or central heating system?

 

The Montrose ‘Project Management Service’ uses the experience from our many years of developing reliable relationships with local professionals - from builders to cleaners.  And our expertise can put the right team together, at the right time, to tackle any full or part refurbishment … in time for tenants to move in.

 

For the owner it’s an ‘arm’s length’ service. We plan it, organise it, project management it, work with you and report back at every stage - for a fee of 15% of the total cost + vat.
